Today while participating in a lively debate in the comments on another blog that shall remain unnamed, someone mentioned that I've been neglecting my RedStateBlues site since I began writing for OneUtah. I must admit I've been spread a little thin. In addition to OneUtah, I've been posting more to my personal blog, My So-Called Life where, among other things, I post a lot of videos and now I've started posting and even writing some original poetry, and trying very hard to get in a movie or book review on those respective blogs as well. Then during the legislative session I agreed to contribute to UtahLegislatureWatch, though I haven't really done justice there.
Too much? I don't think so. My daughter came by her over-achiever personality rightly. I can do it all. Plus take care of the house and yard, work an eight-hour day, and manage a little social life in between.
Well, no more excuses. I resolve to give this blog more attention and post more regularly. I'll attempt to say something almost every day.
For those of you who have stayed with me despite my lapses, I thank you. I can tell from my stats that I still have at least a few dozen visiting every day. Plus those who follow via Blogger, RSS and other feeds. You are all very kind to stop by. Now I'll try to make it more worth your while.
(And what does this picture have to do with any of this? Well, nothing. It's just one of my favorite photos I took this winter.)

Yes, you have been neglecting this. Course since I was down with my sister (though with laptop) I have been neglecting to stop by. And I have noticed my political blog (Travels with Charley) has been neglected in favor of poetry and art on my other two.
I do think it is cyclic. Sometimes we have to write about something and sometimes we don't.
It is just that you haven't been posting political wisdom at the same time that Margaret and Helen are out of the loop too. Must I listen to Rush Limbaugh myself?
Haha, Jacqui, yes, I'm sorry, but someone's got to do it!
Welcome back!
Thanks for keeping up with it. I promise to come by and comment.
Thanks, Rich. I'm resolving to post more often at OneUtah as well. I've become a bit of a slacker, letting others post and then just joining in the comments.
